How to cast Tenkara for nymphing

The following video will walk through the proper Tenkara casting technique for tightline nymphing. The cast is the foundation in making sure you accomplish the three most important aspects of tightline nymphing.


  1. Maintaining a tightline throughout the drift for strike detection

  2. Getting your fly(s) deep as quick as possible

  3. Having a direct connection with your fly so you can guide it through the seam you are targeting
